DAEMON1 indicates the slinky. The HUMAN, named NOTHING nods absently, typing and observing both their screen and the thing/DAEMON1 opposite them.
DAEMON1
I can have the thing, Nothing? Seriously?
Daemon1 slides a hand across the table delicately pulling the toy to itself as Nothing—the human—speaks while typing.
NOTHING
Stuff? You want manifest stuff? Yes, you can have it. But I’m not Nothing.
DAEMON1
“Nothing” is a word we use to describe when something we expect to be there is missing, like an empty fridge.

True nothingness is impossible because space, time, and the laws of nature are always present everywhere. If you like, we can focus on the scientific side: quantum fields and energy.
